sometimes camping is just so much work when there is no water and no shelter to put food and stuff (so it does't get wet). I was needing some help to make this easier this year. Thanks. We have a camper, and electric but no shelter outside (pavilion). There is a small fridge in the camper and we do have a couple of coolers as well. I have't seen any rattlesnakes in Pa. yet. lol

take a hamburger patti and some potatoes, carrots, onions, or whatever veggies you want. season to taste. wrap it up in some tin foil (very well so it won't just fall out) and throw it into the fire(or into coals either will work). cook on each side for approximately 5 minutes. and walla din din with no fuss.

You could do a couple things that you could prepare b4 you go.1. get a beef brisket, keep it frozen, add 1 tablespoon of garlic salt, 2 teaspoons of Montreal steak seasoning and one honey brown beer. Take the Brisket and put in a freezer bag (don't defrost the Brisket) and then add all the ingrediants. You can swish it around and then zip up the freezer bagwith a little air so it doesn't crack in the freezer.2. bake a pork roast, then put in fridge. Pull it put in bar-b que sauce and then freeze it . It and the brisket should be used with in 1 month by the way. With the pork all you need buns and maybe make some potatoe salade or some broccoli salade and your set for a couple days anyway.

If you don't even have water or shelter, then you're not really camping, you're dying. But if you want an easy recipe for dinner under those conditions, how about crickets or rattlesnakes, maybe some sort of berries if you're lucky.http://www.google.com/search?q=survivorman&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

i don't know about those specific conditions, but dutch oven cooking is always nice. check it out on google, there are a lot of sites on how to do it and plenty of recipes, both easy and hard.

Too many people think you have to suffer in order to camp. NOT TRUE! I've had gourmet meals on campouts that have been truly fabulous. You can cook most anything with a Dutch oven or over a campfire or with a camp stove. If you are looking for quick, no fuss meals, check out the backpacker food at your local outdoor store. Most only require you add boiling water. I'll not guarantee everyone will taste great, but some are fairly decent.
