How do I stand sitting all day while turkey hunting?

Well tomorrow im hunting all day again. Today was horrible. My knees hurt bad after sitting in the same position for 10-20 minutes. Does any one have any tips how to make the day go by faster/hurt less?I am in shape. Its just that sitting hurts alot while sitting on ground with no back support.

I have a Chair thing, cushioned with a back, works well, You could also put a blind that covers about half of you up so you can move your legs.

A good idea is to have one of those turkey hunting jackets that you wear with the built-in seat cushion. Also, I would try making a blind and sitting on a comfortable hunting stool with a back rest. Happy Hunting and Knock em' dead!!!!

You are supposed to sit with your back against a tree that is wider than your body so that someone won't sneak up behind you and thinking that you are a turkey, shoot you. Find a tree to lean against, and get a chair or find a short log that you can move in front of the tree so that you can sit on it.

How are you hunting and sitting. Are you walking in clearings and trail paths and using locating calls like and owl, crow, or even a woodpecker call. First locate them and then bring out the hen call. Don't act like your deer hunting and sitting down in one spot and waiting, you wait when you hear one. Know once you hear one, sit by a tree with your back leaning against the tree. Buy a cushioned turkey seat with a back that is fold-able or a small chair that lets your legs free and when sitting by a tree with the turkey seat fold your legs outward. And check to make sure that the tree you sit up against is as big or bigger than your shoulders or in front of a bush then you use the chair. Now you might want to start getting to your location and use your locater calls before sunrise because turkeys are just starting to come out of the roost. Also are you hunting WMA (Wildlife Management Area) or private land you have a better chance on private because there are more hunters on WMA (public land) that turkeys start to get paranoid by other hunters and by the other hunters that shot at them and missed.
