Attention ALL Scouters: Need Camp Recipes!!?
Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. I am working on a project that requires me to make a compilation of "one pot" camp-friendly recipes that can be made using only what you can take/use at camp, and preferrably one that holds to the Leave No Trace & Outdoor Code.I need 3 breakfast, 3 lunch, 3 dinner, and 3 dessert recipes. Thanks my fellow scouters! ;o)

Campfire breakfast4 large potatoes1 small oniongarlic saltpeppera little oildozen eggswaterWash the potatoes and slice like potato chips. Peel the onion and slice it. Lay the potatoes out on a large piece of heavy alumimum foil (reusable, of course). Put the onion on top, then drizzle with oil and season. Seal up the foil so the packet will lay flat. Can be cooked right over the coals, and can be made before you leave so that there's no prep at the site, or you can make it just before you eat.Serve with poached eggs (boiled in water over the campfire). The yolk from the egg becomes a yummy "sauce" on the potatoes.Cleanup is a snap because nothing was "messy".Campfire Soup3 bouillon cubes Chopped veggies (whatever you've packed in...potatoes, corn, beans, onion, etc)Salt and PepperGarlic, mincedWatera little oilSimmer all of the veggies in the bottom of the pot with the oil until they start to get brown. Add 1 cup water and heat. Then add the bouillon cubes until they dissolve. Fill the rest of the pot with water and bring to a simmer. Keep adding more bouillon and water if needed to have it stretch farther. Will feed an entire troop.Campfire browniesMix up your favorite brownie mix using powdered eggs in place of regular if needed. Butter a campfire pot or heavy skillet. Pour in the brownie mix and sprinkle with broken cookies. Cover and put over the campfire, turning about every 10 mins so there aren't "hot spots". When done, sprinkle on marshmallows and butterscotch or chocolate chips and let them melt to make "frosting".

I remmeber one camptrip when i was young. We had these individual piemakers. LOL....bare with me here. They were cast iron molds. You put a slice of bread on each sidei think putting butter on them is a good idea i dont remmeber if we did. Then we just had cans of all different kinds of pie filling. If you get a hold of some of those they'd be alot of fun
