    is there any good hiking trails that we can go to?tell me the names of some of these trails!i live in bakersfield ca, but i'm willing to travel an hour and a half at the most

    I would go to Yosemite! Do some research on the Pacific Crest Trail... it runs from Mexico to Canada and runs the length of California.

    Mill Creek Trail is located appr 45 minutes towards Lake Isabella. If you hike the complete trail it is 17 miles round trip with 4k feet of elevation gain.Mt. Pinos Recreation Area - west of Frazier Park. 45 minute drive to Frazier Park and appr 30-45 minutes to most trail heads.Wind Wolves Preserve(open weekends only to the public) - appr 30 minute drive south of Bakersfield.Carrizo Plains. Approximate 1.5 hour drive west from Rosedale Hgwy. Flowers are spectacular right now.If you want to learn more, check out our club yahoo sight. We do hikes every other weekend and often more scheduled in between including some more agreesive and difficult hikes by some of the more experienced members.
