Thread: What is a good saltwater fishing rod/reel combo under $40.00 that has 15-25lbs line test?

I'm fishing off piers in April at myrtle beach,SC. Its my first time saltwater fishing. I need a good rod/reel combo that's under $40 and has 15-25lbs line test. Also i don't want it to be over 8'. If you can, can you provide a link. Thanks

good luck. that might cover good quality line. why don't you go looking for garage sales or flea markets tomorrow. they are great places to find good gear, cheap.
