One of the least enjoyable parts of turkey hunting (right up there with being outsmarted by a bird with a brain the size of a pea) is that you should try to be set already when they come down from their roost, and that means before day.

Well In NH spring season is the month of may & you can only hunt from daylight to noon so thats when I hunt

Paul M, WWD gave a good answer about getting set up before day break but there is another time of the day when you have an opportunity to hunt turkey. Around noon time wild turkey will go to have a drink of water, If you know of a pond or stock tank on your hunting lease that has a good ambush point then get there a little before noon and good luck!
